The game has it where you start out with no Items. Then in the first Dungeon you get the Sword. However I was thinking you get the Sword before the Dungeon, because it may be a little boring not having any weapon at all. Opinions?

The sword is the least you could do for link.
Otherwise, having no master sword or kokiri sword, or .... makes sense somehow. Perhaps someone like your uncle or neighbour could give you a boomerang or something a bit secondary...

I think he should get the sword in the dungeon, it makes it more fun and challenging in my opinion and Link being able to fight these beasts with his bare hands? That'd be pretty cool.
